February Break

Just a reminder that we have February Break 2/20 - 2/24.  I hope you and your family have a wonderful, relaxing break.

Hello February!

We are kicking off a new month and learning many new things!

This week we are focusing on:

Reading - We are talking about using context clues to determine meanings of multiple meaning words.

Writing - We are sharing our opinions in our writing.  We are finishing up our writing about whether we want it to be spring soon or winter longer and moving into book reviews.

Math - Double digit plus and minus single digit addition and subtraction is our main focus.  Building numbers in base ten and composing and decomposing tens to help us solve the problem.

Social Studies - We are learning about Harriet Tubman and the contributions she made for our country.

Don't forget to read every night and practice your sight words! :)
